Click here for the Church of England website, Your Church Wedding, which has lots of useful information about getting married and designing your wedding service.

You can get married in one of our churches if you have a qualifying connection. These include living in one of our three parishes, or having lived there at any time for more than six months, having been baptised in one of our parishes, and your parents or grandparents having been married in one of our churches. If you don’t have these or one of the other ‘qualifying connections’ you may still be able to be married here – talk to one of our priests or our benefice administrator.

Forgiveness and the possibility of a new start is central to the Christian Gospel and so it is possible for those who have been divorced to be married in our Churches, according to the doctrine of the Church of England. It is also possible to have your marriage blessed in our Churches or to renew your vows on a significant anniversary – contact us to discuss this.

We regret that same-sex couples are not yet able to be married in the Church of England and we hope and pray that this will soon change. Same-sex couples can be married in other Provinces of the Anglican Communion outside England and if you wish a church wedding we will be happy to discuss the options.

Thank you to all the beautiful brides who willing shared their wedding photos with us so that you can see how magical a venue our churches in Padstow, St Merryn, Trevone, St Issey and Little Petherick are for your special day.
