“God did not make death, and he does not delight in the death of the living ” (Wisdom 1:13).
Jesus said to Martha, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26).
When someone close to you dies we can help. At the heart of our Christian faith is the belief that Jesus overcame death on the cross and death is now the gateway to new life. There is hope in the devastating sadness of bereavement.
In addition to the grief you experience, there are a lot of administrative things to do when someone close to you dies. If you wish a visit or to plan a funeral, speak to one of our priests or contact our Administrator, Sue Norfolk, by email or phone: firstname.lastname@example.org 01841 534898
