St. Saviour’s Trevone – Eucharist service – Sunday July 19th at 0930

St. Saviour’s Trevone – Eucharist service – Sunday July 19th at 0930

  • Maximum allowed attendance to be circa 30 (includes the priest, server, and the two wardens)
  • If you wish to attend, please be there no earlier than 0855 and no later than 0925
  • Please appreciate that the service may have to commence slightly late for safety reasons
  • This will be a simple service reflecting guidance respectively from Government, the National Church and Truro Diocese
  • Guided entry will be on a first come basis – If you are attending on your own and have secured a place in the 30 on the morning, you may be asked to wait outside or in your car before being guided to your place.
  • It is obviously your personal decision as to whether to attend
  • Please only consider attending if current government guidance on potential infection and shielding suggests that it is sensible for you to do so.
  • Seating within St. Saviour’s will be set out in order to observe the 2-metre distancing. Those who are members of the same ‘household’ will be able to sit together.
  • However, it would be helpful if you could wear a face mask as required for 1 metre + distancing
  • You will be met at the entrance by a warden and directed to a specific pew by the other warden – both will be wearing ppe
  • Please could you observe the 2-metre distancing guidance whilst waiting
  • There will be a hand sanitiser ‘station’ at the entrance
  • In accordance with guidance we would appreciate everyone leaving their contact details – Please bring a note of your contact details which will be kept for 21 days in case of a notified infection – this will speed up the entrance process – We will request details from those that do not have them with them
  • The main door, inner door and back side door will all be kept wide open throughout the service for ventilation – therefore if the day is cool please come suitably dressed
  • The Eucharist, bread only, will be taken in ‘households’, or as individuals, observing 2m distancing. There will be a hand sanitiser ‘station’ available.
  • The priest and server will be wearing ppe at this time
  • There will be a collection plate at the exit if you wish to make a gift
  • After receiving the Eucharist you will be asked to leave by the side back door of the church and if you have driven to St. Saviour’s wait until you have observed a signal from the wardens that all have partaken of the Eucharist before starting your vehicle.
  • THE WARDENS HAVE CONDUCTED A RISK ASSESSMENT, FOLLOWING GUIDANCE, AND HAVE CONSULTED MORE WIDELY.
  • WE ARE SURE THAT YOU WILL THEREFORE APPRECIATE THAT THE WARDENS NEED TO TIGHTLY OVERSEE PROCEEDINGS ON THE DAY.
  • THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
