The Camel Cluster

Things are changing for us in Padstow and Trevone.

As I am sure you already know on September 26th we lost Julia Wilkinson, a faithful and much loved priest and we offer our love and prayers to Julia’s family and the people of her parishes as they mourn her loss.

Julia’s death means that we have had to completely rethink the timetable for the formation of “The Camel Cluster” hence the reason for the changes to our service pattern in the new year as we try to make possible for one priest to care for the 5 churches in the new group of parishes.

Therefore , in January and February 2016 we will be trialling different forms of worship at St Petroc’s and St Saviour’s.

The pattern for January 2016 will be as follows:

Sunday January 3rd, Sunday January 17th

8.00am Said Eucharist – 1662 Prayer Book at St Petroc’s

9.30am Sung Eucharist – Common Worship St Saviour’s

11.00am MORNING PRAYER – Common Worship/Prayer Book at St Petroc’s

Sunday January 10th, Sunday January 24th

NO 8.00am Said Eucharist – 1662 Prayer Book at St Petroc’s

9.30am Sung Eucharist – Common Worship/Prayer Book St Saviour’s

11.00am Sung Parish Eucharist – Common Worship at St Petroc’s

Sunday January 31st

11.00am Joint Parish Eucharist  – Common Worship at St Petroc’s

Please try to attend our new services as we will be looking for feedback from you at the APCM on March 9th so that we can choose the style of service YOU would like in the parish. The PCC will then make the final decision after the Annual Parochial Church Meeting and the decided pattern of services will be put in place in April.  Fr Chris
